Your rims have a matte finish?
No problem! Q² Rim EVO is safe to use on all types of rims, regardless of their finish: wet-painted, powder-coated, anodised, high-gloss polished, chrome-plated or matte painted. GYEON Q² Rim EVO does not add gloss to the surface, but gives the original colour a little more depth and saturation. Use the most advanced coating technology to protect your wheel finish!
GYEON Q² Rim EVO is a ceramic rim sealant that is incredibly easy to apply
The ceramic sealant can be applied at home and even outdoors in the open air; a garage is no longer necessary. All you need to ensure is a dry spot for the following 12 hours and some shade during application.
- 1 piece of GYEON Q² Rim EVO 30 ml
- 1 piece of GYEON Q²M Block Applicator 4 cm x 9 cm x 2.5 cm
- 4 pieces of GYEON Q²M Suede 10 cm x 10 cm
Before you begin, wash and degrease the wheel surface with effective cleaners in this sequence:
- Gyeon Q²M Iron Wheel Cleaner
- Gyeon Q²M Prep pre-cleaner
- Gyeon Q²M Clay cleaning clay (for heavy contamination)
Apply Q² Rim EVO evenly and thinly. Wait approximately 5 minutes before smoothing any irregularities (high spots) with a soft microfiber cloth.
Tip 1:
- Q² Rim EVO can be applied undiluted with an airbrush gun; subsequent polishing or leveling is unnecessary due to the even spray application

- Although Q² Rim EVO requires only a single layer, layering for enhanced performance is possible. Waiting time between layers: at least 4 hours

Frage: Was mache ich, wenn ich das GYEON Q² RIM EVO neu auftragen will? Kann ich einfach über die alte Schicht drüber gehen?
Da Coatings im privaten Bereich nicht überall perfekt und gleichmäßig aufgetragen werden, ist gegen Ende der Standzeit an manchen Stellen schon nichts mehr vorhanden aber an anderen Stellen haften durchaus noch Reste. Für ideale Bedingungen müssen alle Reste weg, und dafür gibt es zwei Wege:
1. Polieren mit einer Feinschleifpaste (Q²M Compound) - das ist an Felgen je nach Materialart und Bauform durchaus schwierig und eher etwas für den Lack
2. Entfernung der Reste mit dem Q²M TotalRemover - für Felgen das Mittel der Wahl: aufsprühen, etwas mit einem Waschhandschuh einarbeiten, 1-2 Minuten warten, gründlich abspülen.
Sicher kann man auch einfach ohne diese Schritte über alte Reste hinweg einen Neuauftrag applizieren aber das geht dann eben auf Kosten der Standzeit.
