The GYEON Q² Infinite Base Type1 is the world's first coating based on fluorinated polysilazanes (nitrogen-silicon chains). These silicon compounds guarantee excellent durability, hydrophobicity, and self-cleaning in just a single layer. Q² Infinite Base Type1 shares the superhydrophobic properties with the popular Q² DuraBead from earlier days, yet it produces a significantly better finish.

Answer: Gyeon Coating Base Type1 and Base Type2 offer the same durability. The difference lies in the surface finish after curing and the application window during application.

Gyeon Base Type1 creates maximum final smoothness and a deeper, extremely glossy finish. Application is done section by section, part by part.
Gyeon Base Type2 offers higher resistance to environmental factors and a larger application window of up to 10 minutes.
